Comparison is fair when it’s healthy, especially when it comes to sitcoms. FRIENDS and The Office are two such shows that enjoy a massive fan following. While the former is set during the 90s, the latter came out in mid-2000s. What’s common between the two is the fantastic star cast, and the bond fans have built with them through years!

FRIENDS tell us about a bunch of amigos, their relationships, friendship, life, careers and changes during adulthood. The characters often hang out at a coffee shop named ‘Central Perk’ in the show. As the name goes, The Office is about what goes on at a regular working place. This mockumentary sitcom on Scranton employees also focuses on love, life, career and other aspects.

While FRIENDS have ten successful seasons, The Office had 9. The former had a great ensemble cast – Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow. The latter’s cast includes – Steve Carell, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Rainn Wilson and Angela Kinsey. Despite not being active sitcoms anymore, they have fans more than any current successful shows. That’s the beauty of the stories, bonds and content shown in it. Both the shows make one laugh, cry and break hearts several times. So the main question is, which is one better?
