On today’s episode of trivia, we have got you an interesting one. Maggie Wheeler aka Janice who played the role of Chandler’s girlfriend on the show auditioned for a different role and not this.

She had auditioned for the role of Monica Geller which was played by Courteney Cox on FRIENDS. Yes, you read that right. We’re sure some of you might go OMG, literally in Janice’s voice right now!

Maggie’s laugh has a different fanbase all together on FRIENDS. But in real life, she was an introvert and always very quiet on the sets. In fact, she revealed that Janice could have had her own spin-off series and Maggie was totally up for it. “I would have absolutely loved a spinoff show for that character, I’m not sure why it never happened. Those things are not in my hands but I guess it was not meant to be, it didn’t happen.”
Maggie Wheeler also revealed that she was pitched a comedy reality show with her FRIENDS character Janice as a therapist. That surely sounds “Oh My GAWWWWD”. “She approached me – we saw each other in the States and she said, ‘Wouldn’t that be a great idea?'” Maggie explained. “And she had the thought to do it, but we never did.” WHY THE HECK NOT? “I’m not sure!” Maggie laughed.
