Farhan Akhtar & Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment To Produce 2 Shows For Netflix & Not Amazon Prime Videos?

Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, The talented producer-duo who ventured into the digital universe by providing the viewers with some of the best OTT content – be it Inside Edge, Mirzapur and Made in Heaven (on Amazon) are currently developing two big shows in the OTT space.

While the first show falls under the comedy genre, (in the space of Fukrey), the second one is considered to be mammoth – an espionage/spy thriller to be shot on a large scale across 7 countries. The scale of the show is said to be huge and something never-seen-before by the audience in the OTT space and involves a lot of research and prep.

While Excel Entertainment scored a successful hattrick with three consecutive hits – Inside Edge, Mirzapur and Made In Heaven on Amazon Prime Video streaming service, their two new shows will be streaming on one of the biggest and popular OTT platforms.

It’s learnt that both Farhan and Ritesh are in talks with the OTT giant – Netflix, for their upcoming digital shows, unlike their previous OTT platform, Amazon.
