Actress Vrushika Mehta is back on screen with a special role in Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and viewers are already enjoying her entry on the show.

She is currently playing a child psychologist Dr. Riddhima to Kairav as part of the ongoing track in the show.

Vrushika Mehta has off-screen managed to create a great bond with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star Aarambh. He plays the role of Kairav, and the two are now good friends and have a blast together on set.

From doing lots of ‘masti’ in between shots to dancing around and pulling each other’s leg, Vrushika Mehta and Aarambh are absolute friendship goals on set.

Speaking about her newly formed bond with Aarambh, Vrushika shares,”My first few scenes were shot with Aarambh aka Kairav and we instantly formed an amazing rapport with each other. He is a lovely child, very warm, friendly and great to work with. Both of us even have a special handshake to greet each other on when we meet on set. We also have a common love for the cartoon Doraemon, so now Aarambh is my ‘Doraemon’ and I am his ‘Shizuka’ on set!”

Meanwhile, Vrushika previously opened up to us about her audition. “When I initially auditioned for the role of Dr. Riddhima, it immediately caught my liking. The role is something I have never experimented with before in my career, and definitely not playing a child psychologist which I am very excited to portray on screen. This kind of a role is going to very different to what I have played in the past, and one which I going to use to my advantage to help me widen and enhance my acting abilities even more,” she said.
