When asked if she misses being in films actively, the Hundred actor said, “You know to be very honest I think also there was not anything that was coming out of cinema that was giving me those chills that make me feel it is incredible and I want to be there. I mean the last film I completely totally enjoyed being part of was Singh Is Bliing. Also because that was Akshay (Akshay Kumar), we share an equation that is effortless, fun and I like doing comedy. It was mad, crazy and fun.”

Sing Is Bliing released back in 2015 and starred Lara in a comedy role. The actor was also seen in Azhar and Fitoor post the Akshay Kumar starrer.

Further talking about how anything she does should add a value to her life, she added, “So regardless of how the film did, I was happy as an actor. So unless you are happy on a set, I don’t believe in going out there and spending so much energy. Something has to add some value to your life.”

About Hundred, the show stars Lara Dutta alongside Sairat fame Rinku Rajguru and Karan Wahi. The show is a dark comedy series that released on April 25 on Disney Plus Hotstar.
