In an initiative taken by Ekta Kapoor, famous actors from the TV fraternity namely Shehnaaz Gill, Sidharth Shukla, Mouni Roy and many others have come together to send out a special message regarding social-distancing. This short clip is being called the virtual Big Boss and it’s also teaching us how to make the most of this lockdown period.
Earlier, Bollywood actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan came together for a short film titled Family, which was shot by their friends and family at their respective homes. Now, the Indian television actors have come together as they have been locked inside a virtual Bigg Boss house. The initiative is taken by Ekta Kapoor along with Binaifer Kohli, Gul Khan, Fazila Allana, Abhishek Rege, JD Majethia and Anil Wanvari.
The video includes TV actors namely Anita Hassanandani, Aasif Sheikh, Aura Bhatnagar, Divyanka Tripathi, Erica Fernandez, Karan V Grover, Karan Jotwani, Karishma Tanna, Manish Paul, Mouni Roy, Parth Samthaan, Reem Shaikh, Rohitashv Gour, Sehban Azim, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Shailesh Lodha, Shehnaaz Gill, Siddharth Shukla, Srithi Jha; Surbhi Jyoti and Vikram Singh Chauhan. It is directed by Guroudev Bhalla.

According to Spotboye, speaking about the initiative, Ekta said, “The video is a collective effort by the television producers association of our country. The current scenario calls for us to be unified, now more than ever. And the common language is that of entertainment. We got all our top tv stars to partake in it so that it connects with people across. We are in this together and this is our endeavor to encourage people to stay home”.
JD Majethia added to Ekta’s statement, “Though the TV industry is widely spread, everyone connected from artist, technicians, workers to producers are always a phone call away, especially for their Fans. One message from Ekta Kapoor on producers group and here we have a Multi starring entertaining “Quarantined ” film by the TV fraternity. Fans will enjoy this and get to understand the kind of time and efforts gone in making this film without any artists being under the same roof”.
The video is not just informative about social distancing, but also teaches how we can actually be productive and make most of our time during the lockdown period.
