WHOA! Ekta Kapoor Apologises To Nia Sharma & Jasmin Bhasin; Opens Up On Naagin 4 & 5

The rumour mill just refuses to stop churning reports around the fate of Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 4. The show that originally featured Jasmin Bhasin, Nia Sharma and Vijayendra Kumeria. However, Jasmin was later replaced by Rashami Desai. While there are several reports about the supernatural drama’s 4th season coming to an end, several said that Naagin 4 would face a revamp.

Now Ekta Kapoor has finally broken her silence on the fate of the show and has said that she is going to put to rest all speculations around the show once and for all. Taking to her official Twitter handle, Kapoor has apologized to her cast of Naagin 4. The TV czarina apologized to Nia Sharma, Jasmin Bhasin, Anita Hassanandani and Vijayendra Kumeria for axing their roles mid-way.

In the video that she has shared on her official Twitter handle and Instagram IGTV, Ekta Kapoor captioned the video saying, “Will u b my nagintine?????The update on nagin4/5! @muktadhond @balajitelefilmslimited @anitahassanandani @tanusridgupta @niasharma90 @jasminbhasin2806 @chloejferns @colorstv @jha.mrinal! As for @imrashamidesai ths will b treated as a special appearance! She was faaab in d two eps”

As the video opens, Ekta Kapoor says that while they cannot leave any show mid-way, Naagin 4 will have 4 finale episodes. Post that the makers will unveil Naagin 5, though there was no mention of who the cast will be.

Ekta Kapoor can be heard saying, “The amount of calls I have got on Naagin 4 and 5 even after Mukta gave an interview, I just thought I will say this. We are in quarantine, guys. After three months when we start a show, it’s very difficult to pick up a story, especially when it’s a start to finish one like Naagin. So we will end Naagin 4 with a fantastic finale and then go into Naagin 5. “As far as the actors go, I think I somehow let them down a little bit. I think I could have done a better job in the scripting. And I didn’t. So Nia, Jasmin I promise I will call you guys with better and interesting roles. Sorry for this. Sorry to Vijayendra also. I think you guys are fantastic. Anita is always fantastic. But as far as I am concerned now, we are writing Naagin 5. I am pretty happy with the writing. But like I said, none of us can predict what’s gonna happen. None of us could predict this could happen.”

Naagin 4 did not connect with the audiences like the first 3 seasons. Ekta Kapoor has promised a bigger and better Naagin 5 once shoots resume. Meanwhile, Rashami Desai too took to her Twitter handle to confirm her exit from the supernatural drama.
