Actress Donal Bisht who is adored by the people owing to her impeccable acting skills will be next seen in a web show which is called ‘The Socho Project’. The actress who will be playing a pop sensation got candid about the show and its backdrop.
Talking about her decision of taking up a Web project despite being a household name in TV, the actress explains, “Yes it was a conscious decision but I was more inclined towards doing a conceptual project. I did not do it to break my image or something of that sort but solely do good and content-driven work. I got a call for a couple of shows but the storyline did not excite me as this one.”

Moving on, Donal Bisht also elucidated what exactly is the backdrop of the show. The Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji actor asserts, “After the Sonu Nigam incident everyone was talking about the music industry and its shady side. But we don’t intend to expose anyone but rather revolutionise the music industry through our show. But yes, you will get to see the reality of the music industry. Moreover, we made this series with 13 original songs just to show our love towards music and I hope the people will enjoy it thoroughly,” she signs off.

On the work front, Donal Bisht who was last seen in Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji playing the titular role will be making her debut with ‘The Socho Project‘. The actress was a part of some critically acclaimed shows in the past like Roop, Ek Deewana Tha and Kalash.
