Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is a rage amongst the Indian audience and the TRP and the run of the show is proof for that. When Raj Anadkat stepped in Bhavya Gandhi’s shoes to play Tapu, it was a huge change for the fans. But did you know Raj had initially auditioned for a cameo in the show and not the pivotal part of Tapu. Below is what exactly happened.
Raj Anadkat recently in an interview revealed that his family has since the beginning been a huge fan of the show. He revealed that he had once auditioned for a cameo, when he got to visit the sets of the show. It was then he saw the actors including Disha Vakhani and others for the first time.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, unfortunately, the first time Raj Anadkat did not get to meet them closely or click pictures with them. Being a fan, his mother was disappointed with the fact that he did not get a picture. It is then that he had promised his mother that he will work on the show one day.
And turns out he delivered what he promised. Raj Anadkat has successfully taken off from where Bhavya Gandhi left and has created his own niche. However, with the Novel Coronavirus outbreak, the shooting has been stalled and no new episodes are coming out as of now.
