Deepshikha Nagpal may not have been able to establish herself the way she wanted to in Bollywood, but she certainly is a popular name in Telly Town. One thing that she is still remembered for is the scheming vamp roles that she essayed.

But this time, the actress is in news for not very pleasant reasons. A certain tweet has gone viral on Twitter and it claims that Deepshikha Nagpal had once said she wants to r*pe her BF! And we are like WHAT! But yes, that is exactly what the tweet says which is actually the screenshot of some magazine.

The tweet is shared on the microblogging site by a user named, Navneet Mundhra. He claims that in a magazine interview back in the 90s, Deepshikha Nagpal had said that it is her fantasy to r*pe her BF once. Now if you don’t find it scandalizing enough today, think the uproar it must have caused by in the 90s and in a country like ours!

The tweet invited quite some comments, some of which also said that women always manage to get away with these kinds of statements with immense ease. While some commented, “Female actors get away relatively scott free even today!” others wrote, “Different times, different societal standards on various aspects of men, women and gender.”

Surprisingly there were some who even blamed Kangana Ranaut as a woman who has destroyed several careers and yet gotten away scot-free.
