While there have been a lot of speculations regarding Saumya Tandon who plays Anita Mishra quitting the show, the actor has confirmed it herself. She has revealed that she won’t be renewing the contract and below are all the details you would want to know about the same.
Yes, we can already hear hearts breaking but the news is confirmed. Talking about her decision to leave Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, Saumya Tandon said that she wants to do projects that offer her the scope of growth. She even revealed that August 21 will be her last day on the sets.
The actor very well knows that it is risky to leave a good job, a popular show in her case. Talking about her exit from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain to TOI, Saumya Tandon said, “Yes, I have decided to not renew my contract further. Tomorrow (August 21) is my last day of the shoot. Finally, people can stop speculating whether I will continue on the show or not.”

For the unversed, Saumya has been playing Anita Mishra in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain for the past five years. She admitted that it has played a huge part in her growth, but she can’t be doing it for another 5 years. Saumya Tandon also cleared that she is not leaving the show due to pay cuts or the delayed payments.
“As far as pay cut is concerned, in these times, people have to accept that the economy has been hit. I am not leaving the show because of monetary reasons,” she said. Concluding the same, Saumya said, “I will miss the entire team of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain but I have to push myself out of my comfort zone and take new risks in life.”
