After Mouni Roy, Krystle D’Souza Also Not A Part Of Ekta Kapoor’s Mehrunisa?

Ekta Kapoor is known as the ‘Lady Of Daily Soaps’. This queen of Indian Television is making headlines recently with the magnum opus project Mehrunisa whose lead role was to be done by Naagin 3 actress Mouni Roy as per speculations.

Ekta has been working on the show since the past two years, but unfortunately things didn’t fall into place for it. It is believed that the web show is about to see light of the day and will be aired on the digital platform of AltBalaji. There were reports that Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai actress Krystle D’souza is expected to replace Mouni Roy.

But according to a news published in Bollywood Life, Krystle was contacted about the same but she didn’t speak anything other than, “I’m busy shooting”. She later cut the call and did not verify the real truth in the report. Meanwhile, she will also be seen in another show named Fitrat with Wedding Pullav famed actress Anushka Ranjan.

The show is reportedly based on twentieth wife of Mughal emperor Jehangir was ‘Nur Jahan’ whose other name was Mehrunisa. On the professional aspect, Mouni will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra playing the role of a villain. The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt in the stellar cast.
