Vijay Sethupathi Urges COVID-19 Saviours To Donate Plasma: “Kindness Is The Major Need Of The Hour”

Kollywood superstar Vijay Sethupathi apart from his acting versatility is equally known for giving back to the society with his humanitarian works. The actor is currently making news for his much-awaited action thriller Master. But this piece of news is not about the veteran actor’s professional life. The megastar this morning, took to his Twitter handle to announce the launch of a plasma donation program.

Along with the announcement, Vijay Sethupathi also urged COVID-19 saviors to come forward to lend blood plasma which will help save lives of those affected with the pandemic. The actor’s tweet read, “Happy to announce plasma donation program initiated by @drhakkimand Uyir Thuli Trichy. Kindness & empathy is the major need of the hour, if you are a #coronasurvivor please help the doctors fight corona by donating plasma. Be a reason a family survives #donateplasma”

On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi has multiple projects in his kitty including the much-awaited Thalapthy Vijay led Master, in which the ‘Super Deluxe’ actor will be seen as a lead antagonist.

Master was originally slated to release in April, but due to lockdown, the film has been postponed. The new release date of the action-thrillller is yet to be announced by the makers.

So far the songs and posters of Master have been well received by cine-goers. The Vijay Sethupathi starrer will release in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu languages. The film is been helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
