Venky Mama: Venkatesh, Naga Chaitanya’s Comedy Drama To Get A Christmas Release?

It seems like cine-goers planning to catch up with Tollywood star Venkatesh and his nephew Naga Chaitanya starrer Venky Mama may have to wait a little longer for the film to hit big screens.

Earlier, the film which was originally scheduled to release on 4th October was pushed further to next year for 11th January release on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranthi. It was only a few days back that the news about the makers preponing the release date to 13th December on Venkatesh’s birthday was all across the Internet.

Now, as per a report from Tollywood.net, the makers have informed USA distributors to arrange the premiere of the film for 24th December, and thus it is assumed that the film will hit big screens worldwide on 25th December on the auspicious occasion of Christmas.

However, an official confirmation regarding the same i.e release date is yet to be made by the makers of the film.

Talking about Venky Mama, Venkatesh in the film will be seen playing a gutsy villager. Whereas, Naga Chaitanya will be seen playing Venkatesh’s nephew and army officer.

The film has Venkatesh opposite Paayal Rajput and Naga Chaitanya opposite Raashi Khanna. Venky Mama is been helmed by K.S Ravindra and it is been produced under Suresh Productions. The music for the film is been composed of S.Thaman.
