Varane Avashyamund: Dulquer Salmaan Apologies After Receiving Backlash Over A Dialogue From The Film!

Mollywood heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan who kickstarted the year on a good note by delivering a superhit in the form of Malayalam family drama Varane Avashyamund, off-late has been making headlines following controversies related to the film. It was only last week when post-release of the film on Netflix Dulquer issued an apology to a Mumbai based reporter who alleged that the actor has used her pictures without her consent and for body shaming.

The actor who is known for his down to earth and humble personality took to his twitter handle and issued an apology to the reporter and assured her that he will look into the matter. Now, Dulquer has made it to the headlines again, and this time it is for a dialogue from the same film which didn’t go well with Tamil audience. As they felt that a particular scene and dialogue in Varane Avashyamund was a joke made on LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran. Following which many abused and trolled Dulquer.

The actor took to his Twitter handle to share a video along with a note and a couple of tweets that read, “To all those who were offended. I apologise. And I also apologise on behalf of #VaraneAvashyamund and @DQsWayfarerFilm!”

Talking about Varane Avashyamund, the film which released in February also stars veteran actors Suresh Gopi, Shobana along with Kalyani Priyadarshan in lead.
