Thalapathy 64: Vijay’s Action Thriller To Be Shot In Shivamogga Prison In Karnataka

Kollywood superstar Thalapathy Vijay has been in news from the past number of weeks following his upcoming action thriller which has been tentatively titled Thalapathy 64. Post filming major parts of the film in Delhi, team Thalapathy 64 will soon be heading to Karnataka.

Vijay and team are expected to land at the historical Shivamogga Prison in Karnataka in the coming days for shoot of some crucial scenes. As per multiple reports, Thalapathy 64 team have been granted confirmation to shoot the scenes there by the jail authorities. The shoot there is expected to last for 40 days.

Talking about Thalapathy 64, the action-thriller also stars Super Deluxe star Vijay Sethupathi in an important role. The Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy star will be seen as the lead antagonist in Thalapathy 64.

The film also has Andrea Jeremiah, Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Dass, Sriman along with others in strong roles.

The film which went on floors early last month happens to be one of the most anticipated releases for the year 2020.

The Film is being helmed by Kaithi director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The Thalapathy Vijay starrer is been bankrolled by Xavier Britto under his production banner XB Film Creators.

The music for the film is being composed by Kollywood music sensation Anirudh Ravichander.

Thalapathy 64 is slated for release in Summer 2020.
