Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth who kickstarted 2020 with A R Murugadoss’s Darbar, has been quite busy from the past couple of months shooting for filmmaker Siruthai Siva’s family drama. The film that we are talking about which was tentatively titled #Thalaivar168, has now got its official title.

It was last evening when the makers of the Rajinikanth starrer took to their Twitter handle to share the title motion poster of the film. The makers have titled the film as Annaatthe. The title announcement was no less than a treat for Rajinikanth fans, as they took to social media to spread the news and share the title poster all across the Internet.

The Siruthai Siva directorial, Annaatthe has Rajinikanth with ‘Lady Superstar‘ Nayanthara in lead. The family drama also has National award-winning actress Keerthi Suresh, Khushbu, Meena and Prakash Raj in key roles.

Annaatthe has gone on floors last year in the month of December at Ramoji studio in Hyderabad.

With Annaatthe it is for the very first time where the actor-director duo of Rajinikanth and Siruthai Siva has teamed up for a project.

Nayanthara is teaming up with Siruthai Siva for the second time. The duo has earlier worked together in action-drama Viswasam which had Thala Ajith in lead.

Music for Annaatthe will be composed by music director D.Imman.

The release date of Annaatthe is yet to be announced by the makers.
