Tollywood star filmmaker SS Rajamouli has been making headlines for his dream project RRR which has superstars Ram Charan and Jr.NTR in lead. The ace filmmaker has also been making news following his next, an untitled project with Telugu heartthrob Mahesh Babu. It was only last week when Rajamouli announced in an interview that post RRR his next will have Mahesh Babu in lead.

The very news from the filmmaker himself had netizens go gaga, as it will be for the first time where the duo will be working together for a project. Now as per a report from timesofindia.com, the story of yet to be titled project is based on that of a spy thriller and Mahesh Babu is believed to be essaying the role of the spy. Rajamouli had earlier stated in an interview that if he ever makes a movie with Sarileru Neekevvaru it will be a James Bond-like spy thriller.

However, nothing yet has been confirmed, as an official announcement regarding the same is yet to be made. Plus, there’s ample time left for the film to go on floors.

On one side where Mahesh Babu is assuring to spend maximum time with his family amid lockdown. Rajamouli is busy virtually coordinating with his team following the post productinal works of RRR. More than 80% of RRR has been filmed, the remaining portions will be shot post lockdown.

RRR is scheduled to on 8th January 2021 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages but there are reports suggesting that it wuill get delayed due to ongoing crisis.
