The film which has the veteran actor play a Naxalite is one of the most anticipated releases for Tollywood. Reportedly, the social-drama-actioner will also have Ram Charan in an extended cameo.
The latest buzz related to Acharya is, one may also get to see Chiranjeevi’s niece and Ram Charan’s cousin Niharika Konidela as the latter’s younger sibling.
As per multiple reports, Niharika will be having a small yet meaningful role in Acharya.

However, an official confirmation from the makers is awaited.
Niharika who was last seen on the big screen in Chiranjeevi’s last release Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has been in headlines for the past few days following her alleged relationship with Baahubali star Prabhas. Which she eventually rubbished as a baseless rumour.
More about Acharya, the film has been making headlines for numerous reasons like actress Trisha’s walkout from the film for creative differences with the makers, Kajal Aggarwal being roped in opposite Chiranjeevi as lead and also for rumours about Mahesh Babu having cameo as a fierce student leader.
Acharya which is helmed by Koratala Siva is currently put on a halt due to lockdown. the film which was originally planned to release later this year will most probably hit big screen only next year due to the global pandemic.
