Reports about Kollywood superstars and two pillars of Tamil cinema, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan teaming up for a film has been doing rounds since December last year.

Ever since the news has hit the internet world, both Rajini and Kamal fans are over the moon following the excitement about their favourite stars coming together for a film that is being touted as the biggest Tamil film to be made so far!

Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan who have shared the same screen space in 12 films (9 Tamil, 2 Telugu, and 1 Hindi) during the initial stages of their career will team up for the 13th time after a huge gap of as many as 40 years.

As per the latest report from galatta.com, the latest news related to the legendary actors is that the film in talks will be launched on 5th March with a pooja.

As per the same report, the yet to be titled project will be produced by Kamal Haasan’s production house Raaj Kamal films international banner and will be helmed by ‘Master’ director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

However, an official confirmation regarding the same from the star actors and the makers are still awaited.

Meanwhile, on the work front, both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are busy with their films, Annaatthe and Indian 2 respectively.

While Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe is being helmed by Siruthai Siva, Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 is being directed by S.Shankar.
