Rajinikanth, who celebrated his 71’s birthday, returned to the sets of the Tamil film Annaatthe directed by Siruthai Siva. He reached Hyderabad on Sunday to join the cast, that includes Keerthy Suresh, Meena and Khushbhu Sundar in key roles.

The superstar resumed the shoot after a break of nine months. The production house of the film Sun Pictures took to social media to share an adorable photo of Rajinikanth and his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth engrossed in a serious conversation. Now as expected, the picture is going viral on social media garnering thousands of retweets and likes.

In the picture, Rajnikanth can be seen wearing a white shirt and dhoti on the Annaatthe sets, while Aishwarya can be seen in a casual outfit with a black mask. He was also seen sporting a white mask on the sets. Sharing the picture, the official Twitter handle of Sun Pictures wrote, “Superstar Rajinikanth at #Annaatthe shoot ! Currently, the shooting of film Annaatthe is being carried out at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Earlier on Sunday, Rajinikanth and Nayanthara were spotted in Hyderabad and the pictures of them went viral on social media. Both seemed to have boarded a chartered plane from Chennai and films’ crew were also joined them.

A video of Rajinikanth celebrating his birthday day by cutting a cake on the Hyderabad flight was going viral. In the video, Nayanthara and Aishwarya Rajinikanth can be seen standing beside the Petta star as he cut his birthday cake. Staffs can also be seen singing the birthday song for him after which he thanked the officials. So far the video has received more than 10,000 views on Twitter.

Reportedly, the south star is expected to complete shooting for Annaatthe in 3-4 weeks, and then he will be focusing his political journey. Recently, the Darbar actor announced that he will soon launch his own party and take the long-delayed political plunge.

He also issued a brief statement, as reported by Hindustan Times, that his party will be uncorrupt, honest and transparent. He assured that his party will win the 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election.
