In the latest conversation with Pinkvilla, Rashmika Mandanna teased fans with the latest update on Pushpa 2. She said, “One thing I am going to promise is that it’s going to be massive. We are halfway through. We were just shooting a massive song sequence, and when I will go back, I will be shooting another song.”

Just not that, Pushpa 2 makers have unique strategies in mind to mint massive box office figures. Talking about the same, Rashmika Mandanna added, “We might release Pushpa 2 in Japan on the same day of the release. We are having those conversations.”

As per a recent report, Pushpa 2 is made on a staggering budget of approximately 500 crores. The film was initially planned at a cost of 350 crores, but there were multiple reshoots that inflated the budget by a huge margin.

The film will now be competing against biggies like RRR, Adipurush, and Kalki 2898 AD. Only time will tell if it turns out to be a bigger success than its predecessor.

Pushpa is scheduled for release on August 15, 2024. However, the shoot faced multiple delays, which might have led to a postponement. An official confirmation is awaited.
