Join UsVIP 2 starring Dhanush and Amala Paul in the lead roles kickstarted with its fist day of shoot. Present at the first day shoot of the film, to bless their daughter Soundarya, who is directing the film, was superstar Rajinikanth and his wife Latha Rajinikanth.
The film is a sequel to 2014 Tamil action drama Vela Illa Pattathari aka VIP. Sharing pictures from the shoot, Soundarya tweeted, “#Vip2 Pooja day today … need all your blessings thank you amma & Appa for blessing the team @dhanushkraja @theVcreations”.
