Mookuthi Amman: Nayanthara To Go Vegan For Her Devotional Film

Versatile actress Nayanthara who is currently on a break in the USA with her filmmaker beau Vignesh Shivan will soon kickstart the shoot for her next, Mookuthi Amaan.

The devotional film which will be helmed by actor turned filmmaker RJ Balaji will have Nayanthara in the lead role. The actress as a part of her role will go vegan from the start until the end of the film shoot.

This won’t be something new for Nayanthara, as the actress had gone vegan earlier too for her 2011 Telugu release devotional film Sri Rama Rajyam in which she had played the role of goddess Sita.

Mookuthi Amman will be produced by Ishari K Ganesh under Vels Film International banner.

Nayanthara who was last seen on the big screen in Atlee Kumar’s blockbuster hit Bigil opposite Thalapathy Vijay has a big release in her kitty set for release in the form of Darbar.

Talking about Darbar, it will be for the fourth time where one will get to see the onscreen pair of Rajinikanth and Nayanthara on big screens.

Rajinikanth and Nayanthara were earlier seen together in films Chandramukhi, Sivaji and Kuselan.

Darbar is been helmed by AR Murugadoss and it is been produced under Lyca Productions.

The film also stars Nivetha Thomas, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar along with others in major roles.

The action thriller will hit big screens on 9th January 2020 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
