Mollywood is yet to recover from the sad demise of Aayyapanum Koshiyum filmmaker Sachi who passed away last month. The Malayalam film industry woke up this morning to yet another sad news, as actor Anil Murali breathed his last early today at Aster Medcity hospital in Kochi following liver-related ailments. The veteran actor was 56.
Popular Malayalam actors Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas took to their twitter handles to mourn on the loss.

Anil Murali made his filmy debut back in 1993 with Malayalam venture Kanyakumariyil Oru Kavitha. In his career spanning over 25 years, apart from Malayalam, the actor has also acted in Tamil and Telugu films.

Anil Murali is quite famous for portraying characters with grey shades on big screens. The actor has shared same screen space with the likes of Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi among various other superstars.
Anil Murali was last seen in Tovino Thomas and Mamta Mohandas led crime investigative thriller, Forensic. The film released early this year in theatres.
The actor will next be seen in Mollywood star Dileep led Professor Dinkan, which is an upcoming Malayalam 3D fantasy comedy. The official release date of the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
Apart from films, Anil Murali has also acted in popular Malayalam serials like Kadamattathu Kathanar, Swamiye Saranam Ayyapa among others.
