Join UsYoung actress Malavika Mohanan is on cloud nine following the excitement that she will soon be sharing the same screen space with none other than one of her favourite actors and Kollywood superstar, Thalapathy Vijay. The two will be seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial which has been tentatively titled #Thalapathy64.
The actress in an interview with Times Of India stated that she can’t contain her excitement. She said that she never thought that she will get an opportunity to romance the Bigil actor.
Malavika said, “I am really excited because I am a huge fan of Vijay sir and I never really thought I will end up romancing him. It is a fabulous team and I am a fan of Lokesh, too. I have seen his Managaram and loved it. So, I am really looking forward to begin shooting with the team.”
The actress also further stated that her character in the film is much larger than compared to the one which she had played in Rajinikanth starrer Petta.

She stated, “The role in #Thalapathy64 is something which I have never done before. In Rajini sir’s film, I played a small but an important role. But in this, I play the female lead. It is a full-fledged role and my first as a solo female lead in Tamil.”
Talking about Thalapathy 64, the film went on floors this morning. The Lokesh Kangaraj directorial has Vijay Sethupathi in a negative character. The film might have went on floors today, but it has been trending all over from the internet through Social media from the past many weeks, all thanks to Thalapathy Vijay fans.
It will also be for the first time where one will get to see Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi share same screen space in a film.
Thalapathy64 is produced by Xavier Britto under XB film creators productions. The music for the action drama is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
The Vijay starrer is slated to hit big screen mid-2020.
