In the past few years, we have seen several South celebs being very vocal about their political inclination. Be it Kamal Haasan, Prakash Raj or Rajinikanth, every one has been quite active in politics. In recent times, we also heard about actor-director Raghava Lawrence’s speculated entry in the field. Recently, Raghava, who is all geared up for the release of his Bollywood directorial debut with Laxmmi Bomb, broke the silence on the rumours.

Many of us are well aware that Raghava is quite active in philanthropic activities. So the speculated pieces of his political entry didn’t come as a huge surprise. But now, the man himself has decided to clear the air on all the rumours.

Addressing his services to humanity, Raghava Lawrence shared a lengthy post on Twitter. His post reads, “Politics- I always believe that more than telling that I will come to politics to gain a position and promise to do this and that for the poor people and waste time, it’s better to stay silent and serve for the society without any expectation. The video posted before is proof of my 12 years effort and belief. You can see that their dreams have come true. Including this child, 200 other children are studying. It’s also possible to do this without entering politics. Service is god.”

Raghava Lawrence even shared a video of a girl, whose education has been supported by his trust.
