Join UsKajal Aggarwal who was last seen on the big screen in Tamil venture Comali has been making headlines from a couple of weeks following speculations about being approached for Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya. Following all the speculations fans were keen to know how far there’s truth to the news that has been doing rounds.
It was only when the actress who just like millions across the globe are under self-quarantine at home, took to her Twitter handle for interaction with her fans and followers. During the interaction with one of her fans, Kajal confirmed that she indeed is very much part of Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya.
For those unversed, before Kajal, the makers had roped in Tamil actress Trisha as the film’s leading lady, following some creative issues the latter opted to walk out of the film.
It will be for the second time where Kajal will be sharing the same screen space with Chiranjeevi in Acharya. The actor duo has earlier worked together in Khaidi No 150 which released in 2017.

The lead pair of Chiranjeevi and Kajal then was quite appreciated by cine-goers for their performance and the chemistry on the big screen.
About Acharya, the social actioner is being helmed by star director Koratala Siva. Reportedly, Acharya will have Chiranjeevi as a Naxalite.
The Chiranjeevi-Kajal starrer is being bankrolled by the Konidela Production banner.
The film which went on floors late last year is currently put on halt following Coronavirus.
