Jayasurya & Midhun Manuel Thomas Reunite For Aadu 3; Will The Goat’s Mystical Herb Return?

Lead actor Jayasurya and director Midhun Manuel Thomas announced the highly anticipated third installment of the famous Malayalam franchise Aadu. Produced by Vijay Babu under his Friday Film House banner, the upcoming film is expected to be the most expensive in the franchise, as stated by Midhun in a poster shared on Sunday.

The first film in the Aadu franchise, a slapstick comedy, initially underperformed at the box office but gained a cult following after its DVD and streaming release.

This led to discussions about a sequel. Aadu 2, in contrast, was a blockbuster success, sparking rumors of another part. With director Midhun confirming the possibility, fans eagerly await Shaji Pappan and the gang’s return.

Both Aadu and Aadu 2 are led by Jayasurya’s character, Shaji Pappan; he is joined by memorable figures, including Vinayakan’s mafia henchman Dude, local crime lord Satan Xavier (portrayed by Sunny Wayne), and politician Sasi Ashan (played by Indrans). Their adventures begin when Pappan’s team’s goat consumes an ancient herb with mystical properties.
