The veteran actor who had made his big-screen debut back in 1978 with filmmaker K.Vasu’s directorial venture, Pranam Khareedu, has been ruling Telugu film industry for over three decades.
The megastar who is known for his serious characters and action sequences, in real life is the exact opposite compared to the larger than life characters which he portrays on big screens. As the Indra actor is well known off-screen for his calm and friendly nature.

The actor had made his debut in Bollywood with filmmaker Ravi Raja Panisetty’s, Pratibandh. The film had the action star opposite Juhi Chawla.
Apart from Telugu and Hindi, the actor has also acted in Kannada and Tamil films.
Currently, the actor is awaiting the release of the much in talks and one of the most awaited releases of the year, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, a story based on freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narsimha Reddy from Rayalaseema.
So far the teasers and posters have been very well received by the audience.
Apart from Big B and Chiranjeevi, the film has a big star cast in the form of Kichcha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupati, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Jagapati Babu, Anushka Shetty along with others.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is slated for release on 2nd October on occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
Apart from Telugu, the Chiranjeevi starrer will also release in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil.
