HanuMan, starring Teja Sajja, is one of this year’s biggest hits. The Telugu superhero movie received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. The Prasanth Varma directorial was released in theatres on January 12, 2024. The actor and movie fans have been eagerly waiting for the Teja starrer to drop online. But it has been two months, and the release has been delayed.

Fans were not pleased with the delay in HanuMan’s OTT release. The film was supposed to stream on Zee5 during Maha Shivratri on March 8, 2024. However, to everyone’s disappointment, the Teja Sajja starrer was nowhere to be found on the streaming platform. Today, director Prasanth Varma has broken his silence on his ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) account about the film’s OTT release delay.

On March 15, the director posted, “#HanuMan OTT streaming delay was not intentional! We have been working tirelessly round the clock to sort things and bring the film to you asap! Our intention is always to give you nothing but the best! Please try to understand and continue supporting us! Thank you! @Primeshowtweets @ThePVCU (sic).

On March 14, Zee5 tweeted that the movie will soon be streaming online. The tweet reads, “The long wait comes to an end! HanuMan coming soon on ZEE5 in Telugu with English subtitles! Stay tuned for further updates.”

When is HanuMan releasing online?

The Tejja Sajja starrer’s Hindi version will stream on Jio Cinema on March 16, 2024. The Telugu and other South Indian languages version is expected to release on the same date.

About the film’s super success, Teja Sajja earlier posted on Instagram that not everyone believed in their film HanuMan, and some even laughed. But after eight weeks, people’s love transcended all the obstacles they faced. The actor thanked everyone for giving immense love to the film.

Along with Tejja Sajja, the Telugu superhero film also stars Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samuthirakani, Vinay Rai, Raj Deepak Shetty, Satya, Vennela Kishore and others. Dasaradhi Sivendra was the movie’s cinematographer, and Sai Babu Talari worked as the editor. The film made a massive collection of 294.18 crores gross at the worldwide box office.
