Join UsVeteran actress Ramya Krishnan, achieved newfound fame after her portrayal of the fierce Rajmata Sivagami in S S Rajamouli’s Baahubali. And the actress is currently hitting headlines for her power-packed performance in her debut web series, Queen.
As per the latest buzz, the actress has now been signed by filmmaker Puri Jagganadh for his next directorial Fighter which has Tollywood heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda in lead.
If the buzz is to be believed, Ramya will be seen as Vijay’s mother in the action thriller which may have latter as a boxer.
However, an official confirmation related to the same is yet to be made by the makers.
As per multiple reports, major portions of Fighter will be shot in Mumbai. The film is slated to go on floors in the mid-January post the festive of Makar Sankranthi.
Fighter will be a multilingual film which apart from Telugu will also be released in Hindi and several other languages.
Though there have been numerous reports doing rounds about the makers roping in Bollywood beauty Janhvi Kapoor as the film’s leading lady. But no official confirmation has yet been made by the makers.

The Vijay starrer is been bankrolled by actress turned producer Charmme Kaur under Puri Jagganadh’s Puri Connects banner.
Ramya Krishnan has two big releases in the coming year in the form of Telugu film Romantic and filmmaker Krishna Vamsi’s Ranga Maarthanda.
Talking about Vijay, the actor is currently busy wrapping up final portions of his Valentine’s day release, World Famous Lover. The romantic drama has Catherine Tresa, Izabelle Leite, Raashi Khanna and Aishwarya Rajesh opposite Vijay in lead.
The film is being helmed by Kranthi Madhav.
