Devara Release Date Announced: Jr NTR Gives Akshay Kumar Just 7 Days At The Box Office Before He Wreaks Destruction – Here’s What To Expect!

Jr NTR has made a 10 on 10 announcement as his fans rejoice with Devara’s official announcement. The action biggie, helmed by Koratala Siva, will drop in theaters on October 10, 2024. A poster from the film that features the RRR actor in an intriguing look has been dropped. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist.

The teaser for the film has already been dropped and received well. Now, the release date has finally been locked for the Dussehra weekend. The festival of Vijayadashmi is on October 12 this year, and the action biggie will benefit at the box office from this holiday.

Interestingly, while the pan India film releases on October 10, there is no other big Hindi release. However, currently, the date has been locked by Shahid Kapoor’s Deva and Himesh Reshammiya’s Badass Ravikumar. The two films might be released or not released on the said date, but their clash with Devara won’t bring much loss.

Devara, however, has blocked Akshay Kumar’s film and restricted his box office earnings in a single week, leading to a partial clash. As of now, Akshay Kumar’s film, tentatively titled Sky Force, is releasing on October 2. Also starring Nimrat Kaur, the film stars the actor as an Air Force Officer and is based on the First Air Strike of the country.

While Akshay’s film will release on October 2, it will face a partial clash with Jr NTR’s Devara, which is already promising to wreak havoc at the box office. Moreover, NTR fans have not witnessed the superstar since RRR, and they are eagerly awaiting his appearance on the silver screen since the SS Rajamouli film.

If Akshay Kumar‘s Sky Force creates some unbelievable magic, only then can it sustain the tsunami that will be created by Devara. Otherwise, Sky Force will have to curb its box office performance once Devara is released in the theaters. While there are very meek chances of this partial clash not happening, it would be interesting to see if the two films manage to strike a balance and entertain their set audiences together.
