Multiple times National award-winning actor Dhanush is on a film signing spree. The Tamil superstar who is currently busy filmmaker Mari Selvaraj’s Karnan has been making news all across today following his Hindi venture Atrangi Re. The film helmed by Anand L Rai which also stars Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan in lead.

Apart from Karnan and Atrangi Re, the versatile actor also has a big film under his kitty in the form of Karthik Subbaraj’s gangster thriller which has been tentatively titled D40.

Talking about D40, the actor yesterday took to his Twitter handle to congratulate the production house Y Not studios on completion of its 10 years. The actor along with his tweet mentioned the first look poster, as his tweet read: “Congratulations ynot studios on completing 10 years. #D40 first look soon.”

Along with the congratulatory message the actor also had a collage of various characters in from Y Not production’s previous films. Also one gets to see a glimpse of Dhanush’s character as a rowdy donned in a white shirt, and white dhoti with his back facing the camera with an Urumi (a sword-like knife mostly used in Southern parts of the country).

Further about D40, the gangster thriller has been shot in London and the rural parts of Tamil Nadu. Dhanush in the film will be seen in a completely new avatar sporting a handlebar mustache.

The Dhanush starrer will have Malayalam actress Aishwarya Lakshmi as the film’s leading lady.

D40 will have songs composed by music composer Santosh Narayanan.
