Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikuntapuramlo and Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Nekkevvaru are two of the most awaited releases in Tollywood.
Now as per the latest reports flowing in, there are possibilities that both the films may collide at the box office on occasion of Sankranti in January 2020.

It is learnt that the makers of Sarileru Nekkevvaru have already zeroed on for release of the film on Sankranti.

Reportedly, the makers of Ala Vaikuntapuramlo too are eyeing for the release around the same time.
However, an official confirmation regarding the release dates of the films is yet to be made by the makers.
It was on occasion of Independence day last month when the Arya 2 actor shared the first glimpse of Ala Vaikuntapuramlo.
Talking about the film, Ala Vaikuntapuramlo features actress Pooja Hegde opposite Allu in lead. It will be for the second time where one will get to see this pair on big screens together after their 2017 release ‘Duvvada Jaggannadham‘, which went on to become a super-hit.
It will also be for the third time where Allu is teaming up with director Trivikram Srinivas. The actor-director duo has earlier worked together for Julayi (2012)and Son Of Sathyamurthy (2015), both the film when released were highly appreciated and liked by the audience.
Talking about Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Nekkevvaru, the intro was of the dashing actor sporting army uniform, was unveiled on his birthday. The actor in the film will be playing Major Ajay Krishna.
The superstar for his character had gone under some intense physical training and also made sure to follow a strict diet regime to get the perfect look and to give complete justice to his character as an army man.

The film has Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady and it is been directed by Anil Ravipudi.
