Despite Janhvi Kapoor's 2X & Saif Ali Khan's 3X Paycheck Hikes For Devara, Ajay Devgn Remains Highest-Paid Bollywood Actor In South With 250% Higher Fee!

It has been raining South Indian films in Bollywood for the last few years. After Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films ruled the Hindi film industry with their Hindi versions, it is time for Bollywood stars to sign South Indian Films, and their paychecks might surprise anyone.

However, it is a balance of sorts; even the South Indian stars are being hatched by Bollywood producers for their films. Jr NTR is already the parallel lead in War 2 with Hrithik Roshan. Rashmika Mandanna was the female lead in Animal, while Jawan starred Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara.

So, while the producers in North and South are looking out for the North-South balance, being the new hit in both industries, they are making the films from both North and South Indian industries a Pan-India attempt.

But the remunerations of Bollywood actors for their South Indian films might be surprising. They are getting paid much higher than their Hindi film prices for these films.

Janhvi Kapoor – 10 crore & 6 crore?

The Mili actress is currently shooting for Ram Charan’s film, and she is being paid a whopping 6 crore for the film. Janhvi is usually paid 3 crore in Bollywood. Her paycheck for Jr NTR’s Devara is 5 crore, but recently, there were reports that she has demanded a 10 crore paycheck for the film.

Saif Ali Khan – 9 crore

While Janhvi is being 2X of her Bollywood price, Saif Ali Khan hiked his fee by 3X for Adipurush. He has further hiked his salary to play the antagonist in Devara and is being paid 13 crore.

Bobby Deol – 8 Crore

The actor charged 4 crore for his stint in Animal. He is currently charging 2X for his role and being paid 8 crore to play the antagonist in Suriya’s film Kanguva.

Emraan Hashmi – 7 Crore

The Tiger 3 actor has hiked his fee recently and is sticking to the same price for his Telugu debut OG, which stars Pawan Kalyan in the lead. Emraan is charging 7 crore for the film.

Shanaya Kapoor’s Debut

Shanaya Kapoor is marking her debut with Malayalam film Vrushabha, and reports suggest that the actress is being paid well. However, details of her remuneration are not yet available.

Sanjay Dutt & Raveena Tandon’s KGF Fee

The Khalnayak actor was paid 10 crore for KGF 2, much higher than his Bollywood price. Meanwhile, even Raveena Tandon was paid 2 crore for her very cameo in the film.

Ajay Devgn & Alia Bhatt Highest Paid?

Despite such great hikes by Bollywood actors, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt are still the highest-paid actors and actresses in South Indian films. While Alia was paid 10 crore to play Sita in RRR, Ajay’s paycheck was mind-boggling. The Shaitaan actor was paid almost 35 crore for his 8-minute cameo in the film. Almost 7.2 lakh per second!

Talking about South Indian debuts, even Kareena Kapoor Khan was rumored to make her debut with Yash’s Kannada film Toxic, but new reports suggest that Kiara Advani has bagged the project.
