The Smurfs Review – Direction & Music

Raja Gosnell’s direction is good, considering the fact that he is able to maintain the pace of the film. This will ensure that the kids’ interest is kept alive in the drama. Heitor Pereira’s background score is appropriately peppy. Phil Meheux’s cinematography is visually appealing. Sabrina Plisco’s editing is just right. The animation and 3D effects are excellent.

The Smurfs Review – Verdict

On the whole, The Smurfs is a fare that will appeal mainly to the kids. As such, the film will find limited appreciation at the Indian box-office.
