Gandhi To Hitler – Direction & Music
Rakesh Ranjan Kumar’s direction is non-existent as his narrative makes no sense at all. Even the climax, which could have potentially been a high-point of the film, is botched as it has been mishandled. Playing Dr. Nehru’s ‘Tryst With Destiny’ speech at the end of the film, the makers have made a mockery of our great leaders rather than paying homage to them. Production values are poor. The film has three songs (music by Arvind-Lyton, Aman-Benson and Sanjoy Chowdhury) are below average and they add no entertainment value. Dr. Pallavi Mishra’s lyrics are average. Background music, by Sanjoy Chowdhary, is horribly out of tune with the narrative. Fuwad Khan’s cinematography is below average. Shree Narayan Singh’s poor editing sticks out like a sore thumb.
Gandhi To Hitler – Verdict
On the whole, Gandhi To Hitler is a terribly poor fare. It will flop miserably at the box-office.
