John Favreau’s direction is poor as he cannot manage to hold the viewer’s attention beyond the first few reels. He also fails in making the film’s story palatable to the audience. Matthew Libatique’s cinematography is good, especially when he captures the barrenness of the cowboy country. Scott Chambliss’s production design is so-so. Dan Lebental and Jim May’s editing is patchy. Harry Gregson-Williams’ background music is just about alright.
Cowboys & Aliens Review – Verdict
On the whole, Cowboys & Aliens is a disappointing fare which will not win any favour at the Indian box-office.
