Conan The Barbarian Review – Direction & Visual Effects

Marcus Nispel’s direction is nothing to write home about. He fails in making the narrative interesting or even plausible beyond a point. Tyler Bates’ background score is headache-inducing and adds zero value to the drama. Thomas Kloss’ cinematography is good. The visual effects are fine. Action sequences are more enjoyable in 3D. Editing, by Ken Blackwell, is just about alright.

Conan The Barbarian Review – Verdict

On the whole, Conan The Barbarian is a dull fare that will work for a select section of the youth only. The film will fail to do much at the Indian box-office.
