Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvinstev met during the 25th season of Dancing With The Stars. They were partnered together but unfortunately were sent home on the 7th night of the competition. The good part was that they struck the chords in no time. The dancing expert even once mentioned how Nikki would beat him up during each rehearsal.
2018 – As The Stars Aligned!
The former WWE diva was engaged to John Cena. They called it off in April. The duo later decided to give it another chance. However, Nikki in July finally shared that she was done. It was truly over for the couple. Meanwhile, Artem ended his one-year-long relationship with Tori DeVitto too.
January 2019 –The First Spark!
Nikki and Artem reunited for a lunch date. The chemistry was quite visible between the two. During the episode of Total Bellas, the diva shared, “Today I’m meeting Artem for lunch and Artem was my Dancing With the Stars pro. The last time I saw Artem, I was in a relationship for so long, so I’m just really excited to see him today.”
A source close Life & Style also revealed that they were already dating. “They got together for dinner and the chemistry from the dance floor came right back. They hit it off. They’re taking it slow, but they’re really into each other,” revealed the source.
March 2019 – The Secret Date(s) Can’t Be Hidden No More!
Fans went berserk when they spotted Nikki Bella leaving Artem Chigvintsev’s house in the morning. They were even papped grabbing lunch together. Pictures of their PDA went viral too.
Finally, Nikki decided to break her silence. She made the big announcement via her Instagram. With a picture of the couple packing some PDA, Bella finally shared that she will be addressing it all in her next Total Bellas episode.
“Yes, we are dating. Yes, I spend the night at his house. Yes, we have date lunches at Joan’s on Third and we like to get food for his house — or should I say, produce from the farmer’s markets. So, let’s consider this rumor killed,” she said during the episode.
April 2019 – He Isn’t The ONLY One!
Nikki Bella maintained that she was dating other people. So, yes, he wasn’t the only one. “I posted a photo of us because we’re dating and we’re having fun. Yeah, we’re dating. There’s been a lot of speculation about us but I’m still dating (other people),” she said to People.
The same month, Artem Chigvintsev shared a picture of them enjoying a wine date together. They even attended Dancing With The Stars pros, Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson’s wedding.
May 2019 – The Family Approves!
Brie Bella, a very important part of Nikki’s life seems to have given her approval. The trio, along with Brie’s husband, Daniel Bryan went to Disneyland.
June 2019 – Can’t Get Enough!
The beauty missed her boyfriend badly during their 1.5-week long distance. So Artem decided to give her a surprise as he flew from London to Napa Valley for her. “I hadn’t seen Artem for a week and a half and I’ll admit during that week and a half, I realized how much I missed my, beautiful, smart, handsome dancer,” Bella shared during her podcast.
Artem Chigvintsev even was showered with a lot of love on his birthday. Nikki Bella took to Instagram and wrote, “You’re a special one, Mr. Chigvintsev! Your relaxing, calm, patient, kind, happy energy and aura is contagious! You truly are the kindest soul I have ever met. Thank you for bringing a lot of sunshine into my life. Happy Birthday, my Artem!”
July 2019 – They’re A COUPLE!
They finally make their relationship official with their red carpet debut at the 2019 Kids’ Choice Sports Awards. Everyone could see that they were head over heels in love and were all over each other.
Nikki on her Total Bellas podcast finally confirmed that they were officially together. “We’re boyfriend and girlfriend. We’re in a relationship,” she said.
Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev even released a sizzling hot music video expressing their feelings for each other. They danced to Rita Ora’s Let Me Love You.
October-December 2019 – Moving In, Already!
The couple decided to move in together. In a conversation with Life & Style, the former diva revealed, “I was supposed to do a show in New Zealand right when my lease was up. Then I couldn’t do the show but had given up my place, so I was like ‘Hey, can I live with you?’”
The brunette beauty and Artem hosted their first Christmas dinner in December. Nikki Bella even shared pictures of them cooking together all day.
January 2019 – They’re Engaged!
Artem Chigvintsev had already proposed to Nikki Bella in November. And of course, she said yes. The big announcement was made on Instagram. “Excited for 2020 and the next decade with you @theartemc ❤️ I said yes in France in November! We have been trying to keep it a secret but really wanted to share our excitement for the New Year,” Nikki wrote on Instagram.
Later that month, the duo revealed that they were expecting their first child together. Bella flaunted her baby bump in adorable pictures with her love.
