WWE superstar Jeff Hardy has been arrested on the latest episode of Friday Night Smackdown after a car accident. Jeff was allegedly intoxicated as the police officers found an open bottle of alcohol on the scene. Considering Jeff’s history with drugs and alcohol, the high flyer might not get away easily this time.
It all happened when Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with breaking news. Announcer Renee Young was reporting outside of the Performance Center after someone got hit by a car and Elias was shown being put into an ambulance. The cameras followed police officers as they found Jeff Hardy in the bushes on the side of the building.
A police officer stated that Hardy smelled like the alcohol in the car that was crashed and Hardy was put in handcuffs and arrested. The police would do a blood test to determine if Jeff was intoxicated or not.

Jeff Hardy has denied the allegations but the police took him into custody. Jeff claimed that he has been suffering from headaches and one of the reasons why police found him in bushes away from the car.
This segment will surely lead to the storyline that Hardy has been in with Sheamus that has aired in recent episodes that had referenced Hardy’s real-life issues with substance abuse. WWE wants to turn his real-life issues into a storyline.
