Actress Harshika Poonacha, who is a popular face in Kannada film industry, lost her father today. Her father had recently had a Gastrointestinal tract surgery.

According to a report in The Times of India, the last rites will be performed today at Kumathodu, near Virajpet.

Harshika had recently posted a picture with her parents from their holiday in Dubai. The caption of one of pictures read, “Cherish your moments Life is unpredictable.”

Harshika Poonacha, who was a model earlier, was also a part of Bigg Boss Kannada season 4. She made it to the headlines earlier this year after two people allegedly misbehaved with her at an engagement party. She also lodged a complaint against the two.

She rose to fame with Kannada film PUC that released in 2008.

May her father’s soul rest in peace.
