Join UsKollywood superstar Suriya who was last seen on the big screens in K V Anand’s directorial Kaappaan has had a pretty decent 2019 career-wise. Yesterday, the actor, on the occasion of New Year, took to his Twitter account to release a brand new poster from his next, Soorarai Pootru.
The Tamil actor along with the poster had New Year wishes for his fans, as he tweeted: “Wishing you all a year full of great moments! Here’s #SooraraiPottruSecondLook”

Talking about his second look from the film, Suriya is seen in a vicious avatar. The actor can be seen sporting a bearded look with rage-filled eyes and his face posted on wings of a sparrow.
If seen closely, the poster also has the release date of the teaser mentioned on top of it. The teaser of the much-anticipated film is slated to release on 7th January. The Suriya starrer has actress Aparna Balamurali as the film’s leading lady.
Soorarai Pottru also stars Bollywood veteran actors Jackie Shroff and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles along with Karunas and Mohan Babu.
The Suriya starrer, which is a biopic based on the life of Air Deccan founder Captain GR Gopinath, is one of the most anticipated releases in the South.

The biopic is been directed by Sudha Kongara and it is been co-produced by Suriya and Guneet Monga under 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment. The music for Soorarai Pottru is been composed by G V Prakash Kumar.
The film will hit big screens in Summer 2020.
