Off late, Tollywood star Venkatesh has been all busy shooting for the final portions of his much in talks Telugu venture Venky Mama. The latest news related to the Drushyam actor is, Venkatesh will be donning the role of a Horse Jockey in his next.
The untitled film will be helmed by director-actor Tarun Bhascker Dhaassyam. The young filmmaker who has bagged National Award for his 2016 release Pelli Choopulu recently narrated the script to Venkatesh. The veteran actor was pretty impressed with the story and has given his nod.
As per reports, the film’s story revolves around a horse jockey who turns into a gambler. The major parts of the film will be shot at a Race Course in Malakpet.
From work front, Venkatesh who was last seen on big screens in F2-Fun and Frustration will soon be seen with his nephew Naga Chaitanya in Venky Mama which also stars Raashi Khanna, Payal Rajput and Prakash Raj in major roles.
The Venkatesh starrer is being helmed by K.S. Ravindra and is produced under Suresh Production.

Talking about Tarun Bhascker Dhaassyam, apart from donning the hat of director, the filmmaker will soon be making his acting debut in his close friend Arjun Reddy star Vijay Deverakonda’s productional venture Meeku Matrame Chepta. The film will be produced under Vijay’s production house King Of The Hill.
