Join UsPost setting box office ablaze last year with action thriller Asuran, Kollywood superstar Dhanush kickstarted 2020 by delivering a super hit in the form of Pattas. The multiple-time National award winner has been making headlines for his upcoming Tamil venture Karnan which is being helmed by filmmaker Mari Selvaraj.
There were speculations about the shoot for Karnan to be wrapped up later this month, however, it turned out to be false. It was only recently when Dhanush’s co-star and versatile actor Lal took to his Twitter handle to announce that the film will only be wrapped in the month of March and not in February.
Lal’s tweet read, “Great work to director @mari_selvaraj has managed to push boundaries with each outing with @dhanushkraja sir and with #Karnan he aims high and manages to deliver in the most satisfying way. Also, great work by with good screen presence.#Karnan shoot finish in march.”

Talking about Karnan, the Dhanush starrer went on floors early last month. The film has Malayalam actress Rajisha Vijayan as its leading lady and actor Yogi Babu in the pivotal role.

Karnan is being bankrolled by producer Kalaipuli S Thanu.
Apart from Karnan, the Tamil actor also has filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj’s gangster-thriller which has been tentatively titled #D40, and also Aanand L Rai’s Hindi venture Atrangi Re with Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan.
