South heart-throb Suriya, who was last seen on big screens in NGK, happens to be in news for his upcoming release Kaappaan. The trailer and the songs from Kaappaan has been well received by the Suriya fans all across.

The latest news related to the superstar is, Suriya yesterday took on Twitter to unveil the very first look from the film, Kaani Maadam, which is been helmed by debutant Tamil filmmaker Bose Venkat.

The Superstar released the first look of Kaani Maadam also had good wishes to the team of Kaani Maadam as his tweet read,

Talking about the movie, the film has newcomers Sriram and Gayathri in lead roles. Along with Aadukalam Murugadoss, Valeena Prince with others in major roles.

Kaani Maadam revolves around Chennai, and it has been shot in popular places in Chennai like Vijayraghava Puram, Meetu Kuppam and Choolaimedu.

Talking about Suriya’s upcoming films, the actor who will be seen with Mohan Lal in Kaappaan is busy with the film’s promotions. If reports are to be believed the makers of Kaappaan will soon be announcing a fresh date for the film’s release, as the movie was originally slated to release on 30th August, but the makers have no intentions to clash their film with Saaho, which will release on 30th August. However, an official confirmation related to the film’s release date is yet to be confirmed by the makers.

Apart from Kaapaan, Suriya also has another big release this year in form of Soorarai Pottru, which is directed by Sudha Kongara.
