Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi has been making headlines following his next with filmmaker Koratala Siva which has been titled as Acharya. The film has been in the news for numerous reasons. The Chiranjeevi starrer which went on floors late last year is without a doubt is one of the most anticipated releases in Tollywood.
There have been numerous reports a few weeks back about Tollywood heartthrob Mahesh Babu having an extended cameo in Acharya. However, the Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy star denied it. Chiranjeevi stated that Mahesh was never approached for a role in the film.
The latest buzz that has been doing rounds these days is about Chiranjeevi’s son and RRR star Ram Charan having a cameo in Acharya. Though the veteran actor hasn’t confirmed yet that whether or not Ram Charan will be part of Acharya, but there have been numerous reports stating that the father-son will be sharing scenes. Plus, the duo will also be filmed together for a song in the film.
As per a report from tollywood.net, Koratala Siva wanted Mahesh Babu for the extended cameo, as the duo share a great rapport. The filmmaker has worked with the Sarileru Neekevvaru actor in his earlier releases Srimanthudu and Bharath Ane Nenu. But, Chiranjeevi wasn’t that cool with the idea, and thus he opted for his son Ram Charan.

The same report also further stated that Chiranjeevi was mighty impressed with the script, and he also believed the role in extended came is pretty special which Ram Charan can pull off with his acting caliber. And also for the fact that the father-son duo coming together will be a mass treat for ‘mega’ fans.
However, it still is to be cleared whether or not Ram Charan will be playing an extended cameo in Acharya, as he is yet to wrap the much in talks and the most awaited RRR, which has been put on halt due to lockdown.
