Joaquin Phoenix is receiving a lot of praises for his performance in the film Joker. The film released last week and the audience and critics can’t get enough of Joaquin’s dark and stellar act. Even the story and direction is crisp and keeps you at the edge of the seat.
Unlike the other DC movies like Aquaman, Batman, Wonder Woman and others, Joker had no post-credit scenes. When the film ends, the name credits start rolling. In an interview with GamesRadar, director Todd Phillips spoke about how Joaquin had an idea of what should be there in the end credits.

Todd said, “The idea of a post-credits scene in this movie would seem wrong, and a little too light for me. That wouldn’t have been something we did. But Joaquin [Phoenix] said it would be funny to put bloopers alongside the names like they did in the old days.”

The director also shared his experience of working with Joaquin Phoenix in Joker. Phillips stated, “It’s difficult to quantify how any actor, but especially Joaquin, elevates a scene. You would almost need to have the page in front of you and then you would realise all the things this guy brings to the character. Simply, he surprised me in a myriad of ways. I would turn to the camera operator and say, ‘Are you seeing this?” Clearly, he was. But it was just mindblowing.”
