Youtube shared that they will be hosting a digital commencement ceremony titled ‘Expensive Class of 2020’ and BTS will be a part of it. The South Korean Band has a great fan following all over the world. So it will be a treat to their fans amid this lockdown.
The BTS group consists of members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook. The band’s latest album Map of The Soul: 7 was number 1 in 21 different nations. As reported by Africazilla, the Expensive Class of 2020 will have other prominent personalities joining them too.
Along with BTS, former US President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former Secretary of Protection Robert M. Gates, Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and activist Malala Yousafzai will also join the digital commencement ceremony on YouTube.

As soon as the news of BTS joining the likes of Barack Obama, Lady Gaga and others came out, their fans couldn’t contain their excitement. One of the fans on Twitter wrote, “2002 babies we are the only ones who can say bts performed at our graduation”.
Another fan tweeted, “the way that bts debuted as wanting to be representatives of just the korean youth but are now ubiquitously recognized as GLOBAL youth leaders with invitations to speak at the un and at a nationwide graduation ceremony with former american presidents/govt officials…yea…”
